Ugaritic

The Ugaritic block is a block of the Unicode standard that contains characters used to write the Ugaritic language, an extinct language spoken by the ancient Ugaritians in what is now Syria. The Ugaritic script is a cuneiform writing system, with each symbol representing a specific sound in the Ugaritic language. This block contains all the symbols needed to write Ugaritic text, as well as a number of punctuation marks and other symbols. The Ugaritic block is often used in conjunction with other Unicode blocks to represent Ugaritic text in digital form.
