Small Form Variants

The Small Form Variants block is a block of the Unicode standard that contains characters that are used to represent letters and other characters from other Unicode blocks in a smaller size. These characters are called small form variants, and are typically used to represent text in a smaller size, as is commonly done in Chinese, Japanese, and Korean writing. The characters in this block are not used to represent text in its normal size, but are instead used to represent text in a smaller size. The Small Form Variants block is often used in conjunction with other Unicode blocks to represent text in digital form.
